Hi - thanks for sharing these scans. I'm planning to put this together but it seems there are some issues with the stripboard layout - inherent in the original article:
Pin 11 of IC1 is running straight to pin 4 of IC3 (and therefore to ground). Shouldn't there be another cut just before the jumper connecting the ground pins of ICs 3 and 4pin to isolate them from pin 11 of IC1?
Also there's a cut preventing R8 and R9 connecting to pin 3 of IC5
And the jumper connecting R10 and the transistor source isn't doing so - seems it needs to be one row shorter
I wonder if anyone's' had a go at building this? If I'm mistaken please let me know but I'll breadboard it to test.
